Full course description
Having a positive attitude in the workplace goes a long way in terms of performance, growth, and development. When positive mental attitude is paired with a growth mindset, employees perform even better. This workshop discusses how a growth mindset and having a positive mental attitude can contribute to more positive outcomes. This workshop identifies the difference between a fixed and growth mindset as well as the benefits of a growth mindset. Participants will engage in exercises that reflect on their current mindset, determine the difference between pessimism and optimism, and identify the traits of a growth mindset. Then, this workshop will discuss the impact of a positive mental attitude, discuss best practices for harnessing a positive mental attitude and identify how to ensure one’s self-talk is positive. Participants will practice positive self-talk and reflect the importance of having a positive mental attitude. This workshop concludes with highlighting the benefits and importance of harnessing a growth mindset and positive mental attitude in the workplace.
