Full course description
Giving and receiving feedback is a skill and an art. It often does not come naturally for many people. Sometimes people shy away from speaking up and giving feedback because they are afraid that they will be misunderstood or hurt someone’s feelings. Other times, people say the first thing they think of- which may be too harsh and insensitive. Providing and receiving effective feedback is an important aspect of working with others. This workshop is designed to provide participants with a framework to provide effective feedback as well as receive feedback. In the workshop, we will discuss types of feedback, best practices for giving and receiving feedback, and the role of feedback in the workplace.
