Full course description

Customer service is an essential workplace skill. Almost every job requires some level of interacting with customers, either internal and/or external. Therefore, it is critical to understand how one’s personal values can influence the customer service they provide. This workshop focuses on creating a customer service philosophy by identifying one’s core values and learning how one’s personal philosophy impacts their customer service philosophy. Participants will define their customer service values and vision in order to develop their customer service philosophy. Participants will engage in exercises to identify their personal philosophy, customer service vision, and values.  By the end of the workshop, participants will understand the impact of personal values on their customer service skills as well as know how to develop their own customer service philosophy to improve their customer service skills.

 

Target Audience: In-School Youth, Out-of-School Youth

 

Essential Question: By completion of this workshop, participants should be able to answer the question:

·       How do personal values influence the way you provide customer service?
