Healthcare Career Acceleration Program

The program will give students a snapshot into the vast world of Healthcare, and is worth 3 credits at Pierce College in Philadelphia, PA.  There are so many opportunities in Healthcare! Some of these jobs require a short certification program, while others take 10 years of studying!  Some of them involve directly caring for patients, while others involve behind-the-scenes problem solving.  There is room in Healthcare for all different kinds of skills, personalities, and interests.  In this program, students will learn about career pathways, employability skills needed to be successful in the industry, and get an opportunity to learn some specific technical skills they can take with them as you build their resume.  This program also will provide students with some team based projects and will conclude with a Captstone Project.  

This course includes content designed to be delivered synchronously, with additional work provided via Keywe that can be done independently.
